1. Miss Marie Salomea SkÅ‚odowska–Curie was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1903 and in Chemistry in 1911 and her husband Pierre Curie was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1903 Their daughter Irène Joliot-Curie was also awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1935. This was an excellent record that three persons of the same family were awarded the Nobel Prize.
2. Sir William Henry Bragg was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1915 and his son Sir William Lawrence Bragg was also awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1915 with his father.
3. Niels Bohr was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1922 and his son Aage Niels Bohr was also awarded the Nobel
Prize in Physics in 1975.
4. Hans von Euler-Chelpin was awarded the Nobel Prize
in Chemistry in 1929 and his son Ulf von Euler was also awarded the Nobel Prize
in Medicine in 1970.
5. Arthur Kornberg was awarded the Nobel Prize in
Medicine in 1959 and his son Roger D. Kornberg was also awarded the Nobel Prize
in Chemistry in 2006.
6. Manne Siegbahn was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1924 and his son Kai Siegbahn was also awarded the Nobel Prize
in Physics in 1981.
7. J. J. Thomson was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1906 and his son Joan Paget Thomson was also awarded the Nobel
Prize in Physics in 1937.
