The moon is also called a natural satellite.
They circulate in our solar system in special orbits around Planets and rocky Asteroids.
The Earth has one moon and there are over 200 moons in our solar system.
Most Of the planets have their own moons except Mercury and Venus.
Along with Pluto and some other smaller planets, many rocky asteroids have smaller moons.

Saturn and Jupiter have the highest number of moons that revolve around these two giant planets.
The moon has different shapes, sizes, and types. Some of them even have their atmosphere, and some of the moons have oceans on the surface of the moon. Although some moons are forcibly controlled by bodies orbiting somewhere else and are controlled by a large orbit, it is likely that most of the moons at the beginning of the solar system have been made of gas and dust.
